For me once the 2011 Green Bay Packers won, we all won. The last time we were in the Super Bowl was 15 years ago when I played (1996-97). The Lombardi trophy has come home and it is just a great feeling. It wasn't an easy road, but The Packers went back and earned the right to be called Super Bowl Champions again.

The last Super Bowl I loved because I am a huge Bruce Springstein fan and I couldn’t wait to hear what they were going to play. Listening to them play at halftime was very exciting.

For the Packers to take the road that they had to take and now to be in the big game is something that is definitely over the top. Pittsburgh has been to the Super Bowl recently and there is nothing like experiencing this week. There are a ton of distractions. When you look at Ben Roethlisberger who has won two Super Bowls, you can easily talk about him in the same breath as Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, in fact you can make the argument that he is even better than those guys at some point soon. When you look at these two teams the similarities just jump right out at you. They both have hot young quarterbacks who have the abilities to make plays with both their arms and legs. Aaron Rodgers and Ben can extend plays because they are great athletes and tough guys. They take a lot of shots and are willing to hold on to the ball to make plays downfield. Well I am new to the game and not used to 4hr battles so I think I will take it easy, have a few beers and plan not to get off the couch..... also looking forward to the Superbowl commercials (This is an event on its own)

Eating super spicy chili, drinking ice-cold beer, stoking the fireplace and watching the funny commercials. However, this year, I intend to actually WATCH the game if the Chicago Bears can get past the Green Bay Packers in order to get there! Go Bears!

We live in a really close net neighborhood. There is always someone who hosts a party. This year it is our across the street neighbors house. Several neighbors come over and we have a great time. There is a lot of noise and a lot of people at the house. We have the big screen on with a lot of food and drinks. It’s a typical big Super Bowl bash. We do this every year. I usually watch with my daughter until I put her to sleep. Then I watch the game with my family. I enjoy the game that way. I really don’t like to be around anyone else. That is something that I do not want to worry about this year, I want to be playing in it. My family does not have any real Super Bowl traditions. Every Super Bowl has been different for my family. I think the best Super Bowl for me was when the Steelers were in the Super Bowl in 2005 back in Detroit. My wife Sharon, and three kids Tanner, Natalie and Clay all came out to that game and we all spent the weekend together. As a former player, there is a little bit of jealousy that you personally are not able to play in the game. I played in two Super Bowls winning one and be on the losing end of the other.
